Aran and Rundas' guns, with their signature colors of green and red respectively, and totally not a riff on DMC's Ebony and Ivory. These demonic weapons are a fine showcase of their wielders' craftsmanship.

Aran's guns are named Shock and Striker whilst Rundas' are named Frost and Shatter, and are in fact made using bones from whatever matter of literally hellish beings made the unfortunate decision to attack these lynx demons :3 :knife:

The white-boned guns, Shock and Frost, are better suited to inflicting elemental damage to weaken targets, while their darker-boned siblings, Striker and Shatter, were built for raw damage output. And yes, they are fully ambidextrous (not that they even have anything on the sides that would need to be mirrored for that)

also, the way these guns work (and any other demonic guns in this world by that matter) is that the crystals in them are a power conduit for their wielder, and part of the energy stored in those crystals gets expelled when they are struck by the hammer. Demons have to use their magic to create these crystals and, in that process will essentially tune for things like how much of the max capacity gets used in each shot, how much of that energy gets converted into "elemental" vs "raw" energy, and things like that. With the passage of time, demons may refine the tuning of their crystals to make them more efficient at the whole energy channeling thing. Ideally, the rate at which energy can be replenished into the crystal matches the rate at which it will be expelled at the max rate of fire.

Anyway rant over lol
I'd say sorry for the yapping but this IS our own little corner here and thus we will be far less apologetic about our yapping
